  • Dr.
    Brooke Huettner

When Dr. Brooke Huettner was 14 years old, she broke her leg in a skiing accident. Following the accident, she needed multiple surgeries to repair her leg. • Dr.
    Renata Anderson

Dr. Renata Anderson’s family has an extensive history of chiropractic use, especially by her father. She was always interested in natural health but was convinced that chiropractic was for her when she sought help from a chiropractor for a neck injury while in undergraduate school. He helped Dr. Anderson greatly and taught her about the healing power of the body. From that point on, she knew this was the profession for her. Dr. Anderson enjoys helping Onalaska children and families feel their very best.

    Katie Strasser

In college, Dr. Katie was looking for a career in health that didn’t require invasive care. As she started looking at her options, she fell in love with chiropractic care. She liked that it was a natural, drug-free and underutilized way to help many people heal themselves. “I didn’t want to end up prescribing drugs all day.” Another factor that influenced her decision to become a chiropractor was that a family member had positive results with chiropractic.

    Valeria Howe

Dr. Valeria grew up on a farm outside a small NE Iowa town. As a child she never understood the idea of taking any type of medicine so when she first went to see a chiropractor who shared the same philosophy (that the body was made to heal itself and taking a medication isn’t going to fix the problem) she knew that this was what she wanted to do when she ‘grew up’. After high school she got her bachelors degree in biology and philosophy at Clarke College in Dubuque Iowa and then went on to study chiropractic at Palmer College in Davenport Iowa.

    Alex Allen

Dr. Alex Allen grew up in Rochester, Minnesota and is the first chiropractor in his family. He enjoyed playing sports while he was growing up and would get adjusted by a chiropractor to help treat minor injuries. It wasn’t until he began to shadow a new chiropractor in town regularly that he saw how much of a positive impact that chiropractic can have on one’s overall health and wellness. This was when Dr. Alex knew he wanted to become a chiropractor.

His experience from a single chiropractic treatment was such a positive one it changed his choice of studies during his undergraduate education. The more he learned about the health benefits of chiropractic care the more interested he became in a career in chiropractic. Since graduating he has found chiropractic practice to be very rewarding by offering people pain relief as well as improving their overall health by using non-invasive and drug-free treatments.
